Takoyaki is a ball-shaped snack made of wheat flour and fillings, usually octopus or other seafood.

Okonomiyaki, originating from the word Okonomi which means “whatever you want” and Yaki which means “grilled”, is a flat pancake filled with cabbage, assorted meat and topped with savoury sweet brown sauce and Japanese mayonnaise.
