Located on the hotel’s 11th floor, the 1,640 sq m space is dedicated to enhancing well-being and includes a fitness center, spa, indoor pool and jacuzzi, sauna and Japanese-style bath. Eat, drink and be merry. Our hotel offers a wide range of dining options that not only energize guests but also satisfy their taste and nutritional needs. From our six restaurants and cafes to our in-room dining menus, look for the Power symbol for light and healthy options. As part of Accor’s commitment to sustainability, many of our hotels also use free-range eggs in our restaurants. This support for animal-friendly farming practices, these eco-friendly eggs are sourced directly from the ecologically rich Bijuu area of Okayama Prefecture. These eggs come from young, free-range hens, who are raised in a free-range environment. This allows them to roam free, resulting in healthier and more satisfying eggs. Only eggs laid in crates are selected and collected by the farm.

Swissôtel Nankai Osaka is constantly looking for ways to promote sustainability, from the communities we support to the ingredients we choose at our hotels.
Environmental responsibility

We invest in today and our future, and at Swissotel Nankai Osaka, we believe that even the smallest efforts can make a big impact on the environment. Head to Table36 on the hotel’s top floor to admire The Sky Farm, a vertical garden where we grow herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers. Learn more about The Sky Farm here .
Our hotel is committed to reducing the use of single-use plastics and has replaced toiletries bottles with wall-mounted dispensers. We’ve replaced almost all of our in-room amenities with recyclable products, from pens to laundry bags, personal care items and more.
We closely monitor hotel waste and find ways to recycle items where possible. Our kitchen uses the WINNOW food waste management program to make our kitchen more sustainable by identifying problem areas and reducing the amount of food going to waste.

Kamigata Craft Beer

Located in Higashiyodogawa Ward, Osaka, Kamigata Brewery is the creator of Swissôtel Nankai Osaka’s craft IPA. The upcycling within Kamigata Brewery’s business sparked a partnership with our hotel, aligning with our commitment to supporting businesses that share our sustainability goals. Operating out of an old city bathhouse that has been creatively repurposed, the brewery continues to find ways to eliminate waste through recycling the by-products of beer production.
Senshu Agri Farm

The energy choices at Swissôtel Nankai Osaka start with our partners who supply the hotel with the freshest ingredients. Our culinary team works with partners to bring organic produce from Senshu Agri Farm into our kitchens and serve it to our guests. Our hotel works closely with farmers and makes regular farm visits to bring seasonal vegetables to our menus.
Kitashoji Sake Brewery
In line with our commitment to supporting local businesses, Swissôtel Nankai Osaka has partnered with Kitashoji Sake Brewery to produce the hotel’s own brand of sake. Located in Izuminaso, Osaka, the brewery has developed Osaka Junmai Ginjo-shu, pure sake brewed from Yamada Nishiki rice, a high-quality short-grain rice grown in the countryside of the Japanese Cultural Heritage Site “Hine no Sho.”
The Swiss brand Nespresso

is known for its exceptional quality and our partnership
with Nespresso goes beyond Switzerland to offer you Swiss-made coffee in our guest rooms, restaurants and banquet spaces. Both brands share the same commitment to sustainability, with Nespresso actively working around the world to create a positive impact through coffee.
The Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality program was established in 2003 in partnership with the Rainforest Alliance, a non-governmental organization, with the goal of ensuring consistently high-quality coffee while creating positive economic, environmental and social impacts for farmers. Today, 93% of Nespresso coffee comes from the program, with over 150,000 farmers from 18 countries trained in regenerative agriculture.
At Swissôtel Nankai Osaka, we are part of Accor and committed to
the Group’s sustainability principles. With every cup of coffee served, we create a virtuous cycle by recycling used coffee. This has led to Nespresso’s global coffee recycling rate reaching 32%. In 2022, Nestlé Nespresso SA became a

Our partnership with Dilmah, the first beautifully packaged tea brand, is founded on the belief in supporting businesses passionate about sustainability and service to the community. Dilmah’s dedication to producing premium tea leaves in eco-friendly packaging, along with the philosophy of viewing business as a service to humanity, are shared passions that we share at Swissôtel Nankai Osaka.
Known as the finest Ceylon tea brand and recognized by Japan for its organic quality certification under the Japan Agricultural Standards for Organic Agriculture (JAS), the Dilmah family is committed to working with vulnerable communities, protecting human well-being and the environment through its MJF Foundation and Dilmah Conservation.

When you step into Swissôtel Nankai Osaka, our doormen and bellhops are the first to welcome guests to this home of Swiss hospitality. Our legendary doorman uniforms impress with how we incorporate Swiss traditions into a contemporary way. Inspired by the traditional Sunday dress in Appenzell, Switzerland, our legendary doorman uniforms were designed exclusively for Swissôtel by one of Switzerland’s most renowned designers, Ida Gut. Renowned Appenzell silversmith Sebastian Faesler has enhanced the designs with signature shoe buttons and uniform details that combine modern cues with traditional techniques Sebastian inherited from his father.

Holistic wellness is an essential part of the Swiss lifestyle. At Swissôtel Nankai Osaka, we embrace holistic wellness in every way, from our design and materials to our Alpine-inspired offerings tailored especially for our guests.
Inspired by the Alpine seasons, our signature pürovel concept involves a journey of the five senses, celebrating our heritage while uplifting our guests’ vitality and holistic well-being. The name pürovel means gently flowing mountain stream in Rumanz, a language originating in Switzerland. As the name suggests, the pürovel philosophy mirrors the four stages of nature’s vitality: renewal (spring), culmination (summer), renewal (spring) and hibernation (winter).
